LUKE.

An adventurous young protege, Luke was born in London, England, to Clark and Brenda Triton–old university friends of his future mentor’s. Sometime in his infancy, Luke moved with his family to the small town of Misthallery, a few hours outside of London. He had a somewhat easy upbringing, with his family being rather wealthy and having hired the company of a butler and housemaid. Despite all this, Luke grew into a rather modest child, and developed a keen interest in puzzles from a young age. He also began to develop his unique talent that he inherited from his father; the ability to communicate with animals. Long before he began his apprenticeship under Professor Layton, Luke honed this talent by speaking with some of the local wildlife.However, Luke’s somewhat uneventful life began to change around the age of ten, when a series of mysterious events began to plague the town of his upbringing. These events, including the disappearance of his mother, his father’s increasingly aloof disposition, and the appearance of a malicious specter, went on for six months and eventually lead to Luke enlisting the help of his father’s old friend; Professor Hershel Layton.With the help of the Professor and his new assistant, Emmy Altava, Luke managed to solve the case and reunite with his mother and father, restoring the conflict between them. Genuinely fascinated by the professor’s knowledge, young Luke requested to travel as an apprentice under him. After some discussion with his parents, Layton agreed, and took him to London to begin teaching him.Three years have passed since then, and through those years Luke has gone on many adventures under his mentor’s wing; from bumbling, strange towns to the ruins of ancient civilzations. However, he still has much to learn and grow from. Luke hopes to become a true gentleman like his mentor, and continue to make exciting discoveries in the years to come.
